"Bardzo lubię robić obrazki w ramkach na różne okazje, a nawet bez okazji :-)
Tym razem powstał kolejny, jako urodzinowy prezent dla Solenizantki. Ma stać na półce, stąd jego niewielka forma: 18x13 cm.
"I love making framed pictures for various occassions, or on no-occasions :-) Today I'd like to present a birthday gift for the lady in the photo.
It's supposed to be displayed on a shelf, thus its small measurements: 18 x 13 cm.
Wybrałam dwa papiery - niebieski z kolekcji "After the rain" jako tło i zielony z kolekcji "Summer in the country", wycięty ozdobnym wykrojnikiem.
I chose two sheets - the blue one from the "After the rain" collection for the background and the green one, from the "Summer in the country" collection, that I die-cut with an ornamenal die.
W rogach odbiłam moje ulubione ornamenty, a do kwiatów dodałam listki fioletowo-zielone z papieru "Vineyard 05", żeby nie zlewały się z jaśniejszą zielenią ozdobnej ramki.
Zdjęcie w centrum obrazka tworzy ciemniejszy i soczysty środek, natomiast sama ramka i dodatki są stonowane, w odcieniach bieli i bladego różu.
I stamped the corners with my favourite ornament filigree, and added green and purple leaves that I die-cut from the "Vineyard" 05 sheet - thus they don't blend with the lighter green of the decorative frame.
The photo in the centre of the picture is in dark and bold colours and contrasted with the subtle white and pale pink embellishments and the frame itself.
Również nałożoną na ramce, dekoracyjną taśmę potraktowałam dodatkowo białą farbą akrylową, żeby nie odwracała uwagi od centralnego punktu obrazka - ramki ze zdjęciem."
I also whitened the decorative tissue tape on the frame with acrylic paint, for it to blend and not distract the eye from the focal photo."
