You can create an original home decor item really quickly :-)
Niedawno w pokoju moich synków był remont. Zmieniły się nie tylko kolory, ale i wystrój, zniknęły dziecięce dekoracje - w końcu mieszkają w nim teraz uczniowie :-) I nagle okazało się, że kolorowe "dziecięce" pojemniki na kredki absolutnie nie pasują do morsko-żeglarskiego stylu pokoju. Ale wystarczyło wykorzystać stary, drewniany listownik i kilka papierów, by tej potrzebie zaradzić :-)
Some time ago we'd redecorated my sons' room. Not only were the colours changed, but also the interior decoration, the "childish" decorations were gone - after all, now the pupils are living here :-) And tehn it suddenly turned out that colourful pencil containers do not match the new sea-sailing style of the room at all! But I just needed an old wood letter box and some papers to meet the need :-)
Nie ozdabiałam go zbyt mocno, bo to przecież przedmiot użytkowy w pokoju dzieci ;-) Front i boki okleiłam papierami, wycięłam kilka morskich motywów z arkusza dodatków Vintage Basics i dodałam sznurek, ozdoby metalowe i prawdziwą muszlę i rozgwiazdy:
I didn't decorate it too much, after all it's a usable thing in a kids' room ;-) I just put some papers on the front and sides, added a few sea motives I cut out from the Elements sheet of the Vintage Basics collection and a piece of string, metal charms and genuine seashell and starfish:
