"Wyzwanie kalendarzowe, które na blogu wyzwaniowym Lemonade króluje w styczniu, poskutkowało produkcją aż dwóch kalendarzy w moim skrapowym warsztacie. Nie, żebym sama miała potrzebę otaczania się kalendarzami na każdym kroku, ale wiecie jak to jest z babciami ;-) Jedna babcia wypatrzyła prezentowany już kalendarz, to i druga nie chciała być pokrzywdzona. Trzeba więc było zakasać rękawy i stworzyć coś dla drugich dziadków. Bo przecież Dzień Babci i Dziadka zbliża się wielkimi krokami.
The calendar challenge that ruled on the Lemonade challenges blog resulted in creating two calendars in my scrapbooking workshop. It's not because I wanted to surround myself with calendars, but you know those Grandmas ;-) One of them detected the calendar I made for the challenge sample, so the other one didn't want to be wronged. So I had to roll up my sleeves and create something for the other Grandparents too. After all, Grandparents Day is around the corner.

Tym razem postawiłam na nienaruszoną u mnie do tej pory, kolekcję Vineyard. Wybrałam z niej fioletowy oraz zielono-fioletowy papier i połączyłam je z delikatniejszymi fioletami i zieleniami z kolekcji Elegance.
Zdjęcie zrobione było na ciemnym, nieatrakcyjnym tle, więc wycięłam postaci po konturach i nakleiłam na fioletowy papier.
This time I focused on the so-far-untouched Vineyard collection. I picked the purple and purple- green papers and combined them with the more subtle purples and greens of the Elegance collection.
The photo had a dark, unattractive background, to I cut the figures out and matted with the purple paper.

Praca wyszła delikatna i zwiewna, pomimo ciemnych kolorów. Kompozycję opartą na kołach urozmaiciłam banerkami z papierowych ścinków. Uwielbiam wykorzystywać ten motyw, bo ładnie zagospodarowuje przestrzeń niewielkim nakładem pracy. 
The whole turned out delicate and subtle, despite the dark colours. I added moer interest and variety to my circle-based composition with banners made from paper scraps. I love employing this motif as it fills the space nicely and doesn't need much work.

Mam nadzieję, że i ten kalendarz przypadnie Dziadkom do gustu :-)
