"Uwielbiam ten niebieski papier z kolekcji After the rain. Jego brzegi wyglądają jakby były malowane akwarelką. Z tego papieru powstała dzisiejsza kartka dla ulubionej nauczycielki mojej córki (koniec roku już pojutrze więc trzeba się sprężać z produkcją podziękowań :-)). Wzór i kolor papieru jest tak neutralny, że łatwo go połączyć z czymkolwiek; u mnie skrawki z kilku kolekcji:
I love this blue sheet of paper from the After the rain collection. Its edges look as if they were painted with watercolour paints. I used this paper for my today's thank you card for my daughter's favourite teacher (it's the end of the school year tomorrow, one really need to speed up creating thank you cards :-)). The paper's desing and colour are so universal they easily match anything; I combined it with bits and pieces of several collections:
Główną ozdobą uczyniłam motyw wycięty z arkusza elementów do wycinania z Victorian Garden ale ponieważ całość wyglądała dość vintage postanowiłam wyciąć zegar ze środka co pozwoliło nieco odciążyć tę kompozycję i bardziej przypasować do stylistyki mojej kartki.
The main decorative element is the motif I cut out from the Elements sheet fo the Victorian Garden collection, but as the whole image looked quite vintage, I decided to cut out the clock from the middle. It lightened the design and made the motif match my card style more.
Wycięte motylki jak i kawałki tiulu pomiędzy poszczególnymi warstwami mają jeszcze bardziej nadać całości lekkości.
The cut-out butterflies and pieces of tulle between particular layers are intended for even more lightness.
Mam nadzieję, że kilka ciepłych słów zapisanych na tej kartce przez moje dziecko sprawi Pani radość."
I hope some warm words written in the card by my child would please her teacher."
